Presentation topics
Innovation and personalization of social services and assistance
This field of research is dedicated to the analysis of the links between social security and education policy to increase the social well-being of individuals through inclusion, reducing social exclusion, discrimination, and poverty. It will examine how national and regional social policies, service development and infrastructure strengthening in institutions and communities can contribute to the creation of a harmonious and inclusive society. It will also discuss the possibilities of developing social services and support, as well as emerging challenges and issues related to operational efficiency to achieve a sustainable and human-friendly social system. Social services are understood not only as a form of assistance, but also as an essential tool for the development of social well-being, strengthening people's resilience, sense of security and inclusion in society. The need to transition to a personalized model that considers the individual and their unique needs and capabilities, and is based on innovative solutions that address contemporary challenges, is being increasingly emphasized.
Inclusion and equality in education
One of the strategic ambitions of "Lithuania 2050" is "a future-ready, resilient and free person living in a community that cares". The proposed directions emphasize the development of critical thinking, creativity, general competencies, psychological resilience, healthy lifestyle skills and the ability to construct knowledge among learners. Discussion and rethinking are encouraged on which modern methods of education, training, social assistance and modern technologies can best optimize teaching/learning processes enabling individuals to learn at their own pace and abilities, how to create conditions and opportunities to use personalized services that meet the individual social and educational needs of a person. The possibilities for the development of social and educational services will also be discussed to ensure the best quality of teaching/learning for everyone.
Support System for Specialists
The most significant changes shaping the modern personality and society are increasingly occurring within the social and educational areas. In this section, we invite you to analyze how new social and educational ideas evolve into real innovations that create social capital, strengthen communities and improve the quality of human life in a postmodern society. The discussions will address issues related to the modernization of specialist training systems, professionalization, value relativism and visions of future society. This section is intended for deeper reflection, critical analysis and discussion about how specialists are trained, what competencies they need in the context of today’s challenges and – most importantly – how to ensure their well-being, emotional resilience and professional sustainability. Particular attention will be given to how the joy of meaningful work can be preserved and burnout prevented, especially when working in socially sensitive areas.
The conference will be held live, and poster presentations – in a mixed format.
