We are broadcasting a great message to the students and teachers of the Program engineering  study program - the virtual "Cherry servers laboratory" is opening its door for VU Šiauliai Academy.

The beginning of its activity is evidenced by the visit of Vaidas Rutkauskas, director of the joint-stock company "Cherry servers" to VU Šiauliai Academy. With the director of the Regional Development Institute dr. Lina Garšviene discussed the planned activities in this laboratory of dedicated and virtual servers.

We are happy with the established cooperation, which proves that we have common goals and ambitions for the future.

Experimental activities in developing dynamic distributed application systems are planned in the laboratory. Also, applied research on the performance and efficiency of service-oriented software (SOA) and operating systems.

Students will use the Cherry servers laboratory to master modern virtualization technologies, deepen their skills in working with containers and develop service-oriented software. This is a unique opportunity to focus more on the architecture of application systems, with less emphasis on finding infrastructure solutions.

We would like to thank Vaidas Rutkauskas, director of the joint-stock company "Cherry servers" for his cooperation and the provision of dedicated and virtual server space for the study process.
