On 26 October, Professor Angela James from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa visited Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy.

During her visit, Prof. James interacted with 3rd year students of Primary Education and Preschool Education and lecturer V. Padgurskyte, conducted a practical session demonstrating methods that develop children's cognitive abilities and promote creativity of educators and students. She also spoke about sustainable development strategies and their expansion and engaged the students in creative activities, starting with a playful introduction, choosing their favourite song and creating poems dedicated to our planet. The interaction with Professor James stimulated the students' activities and emotions and allowed their creative potential to emerge. We thank Professor Angela James for her time and for sharing her ideas and good feelings.
