On September 19, VU Šiauliai Academy held an integration day for foreign students.
Although the academic year is already in full swing, it was decided to hold an integration day specifically for students from foreign countries more than two weeks after September 1. This decision was made because not all students from other countries arrive at the same time.
During the event, the young people got to know the academy's administration. The director of the VU Šiauliai Academy, Professor Renata Bilbokaitė, and her deputies gave a welcoming speech. The lecturers also introduced themselves to the students. This was followed by a presentation on the academy's rules and regulations, as well as the general and study procedures.
The students were then welcomed by an officer from the Šiauliai City Police Department, who spoke about Lithuanian laws, city regulations, and other relevant issues. Inga Ramanauskienė, a psychologist at the Šiauliai Academy of Vilnius University, also spoke with the students.
