A meeting with business partners — ATC BALTIC and its CEO Aurelijus Šerlinskas — took place at Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy. During the meeting, opportunities for closer cooperation were discussed, aimed at strengthening the quality of the Software Engineering study programme and ensuring even better student preparation for the labour market.

An important highlight of the meeting was the signing of a cooperation agreement. The agreement provides for the expansion of the partnership between the Academy and the company, creating more practical opportunities for students and strengthening the connection between studies and real business needs.

ATC BALTIC also plans to award a scholarship to first-year students of the Software Engineering programme, encouraging young people to choose technology studies and take a more confident step into the fields of IT and engineering solutions.

Special attention will be given to strengthening the specialisation in Robotic Systems. The company’s industrial robot has already been used in the study process for several years — students work with it in practice, create solutions and develop final projects. This allows them not only to learn theory, but also to test real technologies used in modern industry.

Cooperation with ATC BALTIC will also open up more internship opportunities at the company, where students will be able to become familiar with real technological processes, gain experience and create solutions together with business professionals.

This partnership shows that studies at VU Šiauliai Academy are closely connected with practice, innovation and future technologies. It is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to choose Software Engineering studies, where programming, robotics and real business challenges come together into one exciting path.
