The Šiauliai Academy of Vilnius University systematically organizes lectures by business practitioners and experts, which give students the opportunity to better understand real-world business experiences, emerging challenges, and the impact of technological transformation on the job market. Such meetings help students better navigate the professional environment and make more informed choices regarding their field of study and specialization.

VU Šiauliai Academy and “Doloop” have a long history of collaboration—the company takes on students for internships and employment, organizes visits to the company, and shares its expert knowledge on campus.

On October 6, Tomas Vonžodas, Business Transformation Lead at Doloop, delivered a lecture titled “From Ideas to Impact: How Practical Tech Solutions Transform Daily Operations” at Vilnius University’s Šiauliai Academy.

During the lecture, students were introduced to examples of business process optimization and digitization and discussed how technological solutions can transform the daily operations of organizations and contribute to better business results.

Significant attention was also devoted to the competencies of the future employee—specifically, what knowledge, abilities, and practical skills professionals will need to remain competitive in a rapidly changing job market. The meeting encouraged students not only to better understand the role of technology in business but also to reflect on how to apply the knowledge gained during their studies to solve real-world business challenges.
