Vilnius University (VU) offers free studies and financial assistance to the most talented Ukrainian students for the second time. Three years ago, VU established The Grand Duchy of Lithuania Scholarship specifically for Ukrainian students who enroll at VU, aimed at covering their living expenses during the first year of studies.

Nora Leach, the researcher from Economic and Social Research Council and University of Nottingham (UK), has the fellowship at Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy Institute of Regional Development. She is visiting Šiauliai city from May 8 to July 20.

In the STEAM center of VU Šiauliai Academy (VU ŠA), an exclusive, pixelated green card was lit.

On December 13, In the spaces of Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy (VU ŠA), festive melodies sounded. The smell of natural beeswax and gingerbread cookies fluttered, inviting academic community members to meet the coziest holidays of the year together. The Academy's lecturers attended the Advent afternoon, and staff, students, and guests had the opportunity to participate in educational workshops, taste the most delicious baked goods and chat.

On November 25, at the festive community event "Colors of the Thirty Years," organized by the Šiauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts, the Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy was presented with an honorable award – a token of gratitude of the Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.

We are broadcasting a great message to the students and teachers of the Program engineering  study program - the virtual "Cherry servers laboratory" is opening its door for VU Šiauliai Academy.

WHY? We are Vilnius University in Šiauliai – a robust, united, and friendly community, so we must show this and make Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy famous!
 
WHEN? On September 9 (Friday) at 5.45 p.m., we gather on the I floor (library) of the Information Center of the Šiauliai Academy of the VU Library. We will be with the VU Šiauliai Academy's flag and our Sun's symbol in the procession.
 
HOW? To be more noticeable in the crowd, highlight, and feel oneness, we invite you to wear BURGUNDY / CHERRY-COLORED clothes or accessories because this is the primary color of the style of Vilnius University. Also, for those participating in the procession, we will hand out university paraphernalia (caps, T-shirts, etc.).
 
On September 9, the parade is expected to move at 7 p.m.: pedestrian and mixed procession – from Žaliūkiai st., joined by a motorized column – from Ragainė St. The procession route: Tilžės st., Aušros al. Opening the celebration at 8 p.m. in the Estrada of Central park.

As the admissions to Vilnius University have began and the start of the academic year approaches, the Vilnius University Students’ Representation (VU SR) invites all members of the VU community to help Ukrainian students fleeing from an unprecedented war that violates all international rights and building their future at Vilnius University by providing them with temporary accommodation - a spare room, a part of the house, an extra apartment, a garden house or other premises suitable for living.

Vilnius University and its partners from Arqus European University Alliance offer a massive open online course on challenge-based learning (CBL) in higher education. Vilnius University coordinated the creation of this course. MOOC, which starts on 13th June 2022, is aimed at teachers in higher education and anyone interested in CBL. The course consists of four units, each of which is 4 hours long.
